Job Description

Seeking a Deaf / Hard of Hearing Specialist for a school-based contract position located in Davis, CA. This role is ideal for a qualified professional with expertise in supporting students who are deaf or hard of hearing, ensuring they receive tailored educational services to meet their unique communication and learning needs.

Responsibilities include:

  • Conducting assessments to determine students' auditory and communication needs

Qualifications:

  • Professional certification or licensure as a Deaf / Hard of Hearing Specialist or related credential

  • Strong knowledge of hearing impairments, assistive technology, and communication methods such as American Sign Language (ASL)
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with students, families, and school personnel
