Job Description

VocoVision is looking to hire a fully remote Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) Teacher to for a FULL TIME position for the 26/27 school year. Seeking someone who has experience working with the Tennessee IEP System and hold active Tennessee certification in Deaf Education.

Job Details:

  • Fully Remote
  • Full Time (37.5 Hours) 
  • Design and deliver standards-aligned lessons in a bilingual (ASL/English) environment.    
  • Collaborate with grade-level teams and participate in school committees.
  • Develop individualized instructional plans and track student progress.
  • Foster strong relationships with students and families to support academic and social growth.
  • Provide direct and consultative services for students across multiple schools
  • Support general education teachers in differentiating instruction to meet individual student needs.

Minimum Job Qualifications:

  • Active Tennessee DHH Licensure
  • Special Education Specialist: Deaf/Hard of Hearing (Ages 0-21)
  • ASL proficiency 
  • 2 years of in-person school-based experience
