Job Description

A contract opportunity is available for a Deaf/Hard of Hearing Specialist at a school setting in Augusta, GA. This role involves providing specialized support and instruction to students who are deaf or hard of hearing, ensuring they receive an equitable educational experience tailored to their unique needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized and group instruction adapted for students with hearing impairments.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to develop and implement effective communication strategies and educational plans.
  • Conduct assessments to monitor student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly.
  • Facilitate the use of assistive listening devices and technology to enhance learning.

Qualifications:
