• Experience supporting students in educational settings
• Knowledge of assistive listening devices, sign language, and communication strategies for varying levels of hearing loss
• Strong collaboration skills for working with teachers, families, and support staff
• Ability to develop and implement IEPs in compliance with relevant state and federal guidelines
• Commitment to advocacy and ongoing professional development

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct support and instruction to students who are deaf or hard of hearing
• Facilitate communication between students, peers, and faculty through interpretation or accommodations
• Modify curriculum and instructional methods for accessibility
