Job Description

This position is for a Deaf/Hard of Hearing Specialist serving students in a school setting in Albany, OR. The role is a contract position focused on supporting the academic and communication needs of deaf and hard of hearing students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with hearing impairments
  • Provide direct speech, language, and auditory skill instruction
  • Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to ensure accessibility and appropriate accommodations
