• Eligible for or able to obtain Virginia's school counselor license or endorsement as required by the district

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive academic, career, and social-emotional counseling services
• Assess student needs, progress, and provide appropriate interventions
• Work collaboratively with families, teachers, and support staff to implement student success plans
• Support and facilitate student referrals for specialized services as needed
• Maintain accurate student records while ensuring confidentiality
• Consult with school administrators and team members to promote a positive school climate

This role offers the stability of a long-term contract through May 2027, working approximately 37.5 hours per week.
