Qualifications & Skills:

• State certification/licensure as a school counselor
• Masters degree in school counseling or related field
• Experience working with K-12 students preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail
• Empathetic, compassionate approach to supporting students needs

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Provide individual and group counseling for students addressing academic, personal, and social development
• Assist students with course selection, college/career readiness, and goal setting
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to implement individualized plans and interventions
• Deliver counseling curriculum and social-emotional learning programs
• Respond to crises and provide support as needed
• Maintain accurate records in compliance with school policies and confidentiality requirements
