This opportunity calls for a skilled Counselor to support students in a dynamic school setting in Seattle, WA. The position is on a contract basis, providing essential social-emotional guidance and support to help students navigate academic and personal challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individual and group counseling sessions to students to promote mental health and academic success
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop strategies that address student needs and improve outcomes
- Assist in crisis intervention and conflict resolution, maintaining a safe and supportive school environment
- Conduct assessments and referrals for additional services when necessary
- Develop and implement preventive programs to foster healthy student development
