Desired Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Counseling, School Counseling, or related field
- Valid and current California Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) credential

- Strong communication, organizational, and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to build rapport with students, families, and staff
- Familiarity with counseling frameworks, student assessments, and crisis intervention
- Comfortable with a flexible, collaborative approach in fast-paced environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individual and group counseling to help students manage academic, emotional, and social challenges
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents to support students well-being and academic success
- Develop and implement intervention strategies for students in need
- Facilitate classroom guidance lessons on topics like peer relationships, bullying prevention, and career exploration
- Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with state and federal regulations
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to collaborate on student support plans
- Respond to crises, offering immediate assistance and making referrals as needed
