Qualifications and Experience:
- Masters degree in Counseling, School Counseling, or a related field
- Valid counseling credential or license required
- Experience working with children or adolescents in an educational setting preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism and confidentiality
- Solid understanding of counseling techniques, student guidance, and crisis intervention
- Flexibility and adaptability in a school environment
What Youll Do:
- Provide individual and group counseling services to students addressing social, emotional, and academic issues
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to develop student support strategies
- Deliver classroom guidance lessons on topics such as bullying, conflict resolution, and career exploration
- Conduct crisis intervention and support as needed
- Maintain accurate confidential records and documentation
- Participate in school meetings, student support teams, and professional development activities
