Key Qualifications:

• Current counseling certification or licensure appropriate for school settings
• Previous experience working as a school counselor (preferred)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a compassionate and approachable demeanor
• Proficiency in crisis intervention and managing sensitive student issues with confidentiality and care
• Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, administrators, and families
• Skilled in providing both individual and group counseling sessions
• Adept at developing and implementing evidence-based support plans for students

Core Responsibilities:

• Deliver individual and group counseling to address academic, behavioral, and emotional needs
• Conduct assessments and develop support strategies in partnership with teachers and staff
• Assist students with personal, educational, and career planning

• Facilitate open communication among students, parents, and educators
• Maintain accurate and confidential records while adhering to district policies and ethical guidelines
