Desired Qualifications & Skills:

• Masters degree in Counseling, School Counseling, or a closely related field
• State licensure or certification (or eligibility) to practice as a school counselor
• Experience working in K-12 educational settings is highly valued
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and build trusting relationships with students and families
• Knowledge of effective behavioral interventions and crisis response techniques
• Collaborative spirit with teachers, administrators, and other school staff

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide academic, career, and social-emotional counseling to students
• Conduct assessments to identify student needs and create individualized plans
• Deliver group counseling sessions and classroom guidance lessons
• Respond proactively to student crises and mediate conflict resolution
