Make a meaningful impact supporting students mental health across multiple school campuses near Oakland, CA, as a dedicated ERMHS Counselor. This is a contract position serving pre-K through transition-aged youth, partnering with school staff and families to foster student social-emotional well-being. Work is exclusively onsite, itinerant across up to three locations, for the entire 2026-2027 academic year (August 11, 2026 June 2, 2027) with a full-time, 35-hour weekly schedule.

Please note: Only candidates who are bilingual in Spanish and possess an active BBS number will be interviewed. Associates seeking full licensure must be eligible to accrue hours under approved supervision.

Qualifications:

• Bilingual Spanish/English fluency (required)
• Active BBS number; must be fully licensed (LPCC, LMFT, LCSW) or an Associate (AMFT, APCC, ASW) registered and accruing hours toward licensure
• Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or related discipline
• Completion of at least 3,000 hours of supervised experience (or actively accruing, if Associate)
• Successful completion of California Law & Ethics Exam, plus relevant clinical licensing exam
• Willingness to provide proof of registration, licensure, and two supervisor references
• Ability to pass district-mandated background checks, including Live Scan fingerprinting

Responsibilities:

• Deliver Educationally Related Mental Health Services (ERMHS) per student IEPs
• Provide counseling and interventions for students across multiple school sites
• Collaborate with teachers, school psychologists, and district staff
• Maintain thorough documentation and comply with all California and district standards
• Support students social, emotional, and behavioral development
