Desired Experience & Qualifications:

• Masters degree in School Counseling or related field
• Valid counseling certification/license (as required by state standards)
• Strong interpersonal, listening, and communication abilities
• Experience working with children and adolescents in an academic setting
• Familiarity with individual and group counseling practices
• Excellent organizational skills and adaptability
• Ability to build trust and effectively connect with diverse student populations
• Proficiency in collaborating with teachers, administrators, and parents

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individual and group counseling to address academic, social, and emotional needs
• Develop intervention strategies and programs to support student well-being
• Create a safe environment conducive to open discussion and growth
• Facilitate communication between students, parents, and staff
• Support conflict resolution, peer relationships, and positive behavioral interventions
• Assist with crisis intervention and provide guidance for at-risk students
• Maintain accurate documentation in alignment with school policies
• Participate in educational planning, staff meetings, and professional development
