Licensed Professional Counselor Opportunity Moncks Corner, SC Area
A rewarding contract position is available for a Licensed Professional Counselor to provide essential counseling services in a school setting located in the Moncks Corner, SC area. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individual and group counseling to students addressing academic, emotional, and social challenges.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school administrators to develop tailored intervention plans.
- Conduct assessments, maintain accurate records, and provide referrals to appropriate services.
- Promote a safe, supportive environment conducive to student growth and wellbeing.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of a Masters degree in Counseling or Social Work.
- Preferably Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) credential through the South Carolina Department of Labor, Licensing, and Regulation (LLR).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with students and school personnel.
- Ability to manage caseloads and maintain confidentiality in compliance with regulations.
Schedule and Location:
- 35 hours per week in a school environment.
- Position based in the Moncks Corner, SC area.
- Start date is ASAP through May 29, 2026.
