Step into a meaningful role supporting students across K-12 as an onsite school counselor for a full school year. This contract position offers the opportunity to make a lasting impact by helping students thrive academically, emotionally, and socially in a supportive and collaborative environment. Youll work closely with a single school, providing invaluable counseling services and contributing to a positive, inclusive school culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individual and group counseling services to K12 students
- Attend and actively participate in IEP meetings
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and contribute to student evaluations
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support students success
- Document interventions, maintain accurate records, and track student progress
- Promote emotional well-being, conflict resolution skills, and mindfulness in the school setting
What Were Looking For:
- Current School Counselor license for California
- Valid California PPS credential
- Experience working with students across elementary, middle, and high school levels preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
- Commitment to fostering equity, inclusion, and a safe learning environment
Position Details:
- Onsite, contract role at a single school location
- Full-time schedule: Monday through Friday, 35 hours per week
- School year commitment: August through June, following the 26/27 academic calendar
