Qualifications and Experience:

• Masters degree in School Counseling or a related field required
• Valid state licensure/certification as a school counselor
• Previous counseling experience in educational settings preferred

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and build trust with students
• Proficient in developing Individual Student Plans and conducting group or individual sessions

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one and group counseling to address student concerns such as academic challenges, social skills, and personal development
• Develop and deliver school-wide programs to promote mental wellness, conflict resolution, and positive behavior
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to support student success and well-being
• Identify at-risk students and implement early intervention strategies
• Maintain accurate records and submit required documentation in a timely manner
• Support crisis intervention efforts and participate in school safety planning
