Key Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in School Counseling or a related field required
  • Valid state licensure or certification as a School Counselor
  • Previous experience in a school-based counseling or guidance role preferred

  • Outstanding communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Empathy, cultural sensitivity, and commitment to inclusivity in supporting diverse student populations

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop and implement strategies that foster student well-being and success
  • Conduct crisis interventions and help manage conflict, behavioral issues, and peer relationships within the school community
  • Administer and interpret assessments to support students in academic planning and personal development
  • Organize and lead programs or workshops tailored to student growth, such as college or career readiness, anti-bullying campaigns, and mental health awareness
  • Maintain accurate records in compliance with school policies and confidentiality standards
