Key Qualifications:
Current school counselor certification
Experience providing individual and group counseling sessions
Familiarity with multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS) or similar interventions
Excellent communication and rapport-building abilities with students, staff, and parents
Ability to collaborate effectively with educational teams
Strong organizational skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving
Role Responsibilities:
Provide social, academic, and emotional counseling to students in a school setting
Develop and implement preventative and responsive counseling programs
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student needs
Participate in student support teams and contribute insights for interventions
Maintain accurate and confidential documentation as required by school policy
Support students during crises and facilitate referrals to outside resources when necessary
