Qualifications and Preferred Experience:

• Valid counseling certification appropriate for school settings
• Previous experience in a K-12 environment preferred
• Strong understanding of child and adolescent development
• Outstanding communication and organizational skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and foster trust
• Comfortable conducting individual and group counseling sessions
• Familiarity with crisis intervention and conflict resolution best practices

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct individual and group counseling sessions to address student needs
• Develop proactive strategies and programs to enhance student wellbeing
• Serve as a resource for students facing academic, social, or emotional challenges
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support students' academic and personal growth
• Maintain accurate records and document student progress per established guidelines
• Address urgent situations through immediate intervention and coordination of support
• Promote a safe, positive, and inclusive school culture
