An opportunity is available for a full-time Elementary School Counselor to provide leave coverage at a single school location. This position is based in the Green Bay, WI area and will serve students at the elementary level for approximately 12 weeks, starting as soon as possible through the end of the school year.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid Wisconsin School Counselor License
- Experience working with elementary-aged students in a school setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to support students, families, and staff
- Ability to manage a caseload independently and collaborate with school personnel
Location:
- Elementary school located near Green Bay, WI
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive counseling services to elementary students, including individual and group counseling, crisis intervention, and social-emotional support
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to address student needs and promote academic and behavioral success
- Participate in school meetings and contribute to the development of school-wide initiatives supporting student well-being
- Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of counseling activities and student progress in compliance with district policies
