Key Qualifications:

• Masters degree in School Counseling or a related field
• Valid state certification or licensure for school counseling

• Strong organizational abilities and capability to manage confidential information
• Familiarity with crisis intervention and evidence-based counseling techniques

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide individual and group counseling sessions to support students social, emotional, and academic growth
• Implement preventative and responsive interventions to address challenges such as bullying, stress, or peer relationships
• Consult and collaborate with teachers and administrators to develop strategies for student success
• Conduct assessments and develop plans that promote academic achievement and positive behavior
• Facilitate parent meetings and communicate relevant concerns or updates
• Maintain accurate records according to school policies and ethical standards
• Participate in school-wide initiatives and contribute to a positive learning environment
