Step into a vital role supporting student growth by providing comprehensive counseling services for K-12 students in a single school setting. This contract opportunity offers stable, full-time hours throughout the academic year, allowing you to build strong relationships and see your impact firsthand.
You will spend 35 hours per week on-site, Monday through Friday, delivering individualized services and collaborating closely with the school community. Your expertise will help guide students emotional, social, and academic development, while also supporting school-wide goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide counseling services to K-12 students based on their individual and group needs
- Attend and actively participate in IEP meetings, supporting students educational plans
- Conduct counseling-related assessments and contribute to comprehensive student evaluations
- Maintain records, prepare reports, and ensure compliance with state and district policies
- Serve as a resource for staff and parents, offering strategies and support for student success
Qualifications:
- Valid CA School Counselor license
- PPS (Pupil Personnel Services) credential (required)
- Experience working with elementary, middle, and high school students preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
