Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Valid school counseling certification (or eligibility) recognized by the state of Washington
  • Masters degree in School Counseling, Counseling, Psychology, or closely related field
  • Previous school-based counseling experience preferred
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to foster positive relationships with students, staff, and families
  • Commitment to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in an educational setting

Responsibilities & Key Duties:

  • Provide individual and group counseling to address academic, behavioral, and social-emotional challenges
  • Develop and implement interventions, lesson plans, and support programs tailored to students needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other professionals to create a safe and inclusive learning environment
  • Participate in student support teams and contribute to individualized education and intervention plans
  • Support crisis intervention efforts and guide students through personal and school-related issues
  • Facilitate communication between school, families, and community resources to enhance student support

Compensation for this position ranges from $35.00 to $50.00. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals. Full details of our healthcare benefits plan can be found here. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
