Desired Qualifications:

• Master's degree in School Counseling, Psychology, or a related field
• Valid state certification or licensure as a School Counselor
• Previous experience providing counseling services in a K-12 educational environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with students, teachers, and parents
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a supportive and inclusive environment
• Adaptability and creativity in addressing student needs and developing intervention strategies

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individual and group counseling sessions to support students academic, emotional, and social development
• Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to identify student challenges and plan appropriate interventions
• Assist with crisis management and conflict resolution efforts within the school setting
• Conduct assessments and maintain comprehensive documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines
• Advocate for students well-being and promote a positive, inclusive school climate
• Participate in meetings and contribute to the creation and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and 504 Plans
