Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid certification or licensure as a school counselor (state-specific credentials required)
• Background in K-12 counseling with knowledge of individual, group, and crisis intervention strategies
• Proven ability to work with diverse student populations, including those with special needs
• Strong interpersonal communication and organizational skills
• Comfortable collaborating with teachers, administrators, and families
• Dedication to confidentiality, ethical standards, and student advocacy

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individual and group counseling to address students academic, emotional, and behavioral needs
• Design and implement developmental counseling programs that promote student growth
• Intervene in crisis situations and coordinate resources for at-risk students
• Partner with educators and families to support student achievement and well-being
• Conduct assessments and maintain detailed, confidential records
• Participate in student support team meetings and contribute to intervention plans
