Qualifications:

• Active and valid school counselor certification
• Bachelors or Masters degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field (Masters preferred)
• Previous experience working with students in an educational setting
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to collaborate with teachers, families, and administration
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities

Responsibilities:

• Conduct individual and group counseling sessions addressing academic, social, and emotional needs
• Develop and implement programs that promote positive student behavior and well-being
• Collaborate with educators and families to create student support plans
• Assist with crisis intervention and provide referrals to community resources as needed
• Maintain accurate and confidential student records in accordance with regulations
• Participate in school meetings, professional development, and ongoing training
