Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity providing Educationally Related Mental Health Services (ERMHS) across a diverse district with multiple locations. Youll play a pivotal role supporting students well-being and academic progress as part of an itinerant districtwide team, focusing on EC-Transition populations for the 20262027 school year. This on-site position offers the chance to make a significant impact while collaborating with educational professionals throughout the district.
Key Qualifications:
- Hold a valid California licensure: LPCC (Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor), LMFT (Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist), or LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker); or registered as an AMFT, APCC, or ASW with the Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS).
- Masters or Doctoral degree in a relevant mental health field.
- Completed at least 3,000 hours of supervised clinical experience over a minimum of 104 weeks.
- Passing scores on the California Law & Ethics exam and relevant clinical licensing exam.
- Mandatory Live Scan fingerprinting/background check.
- Demonstrated experience providing counseling and mental health services in school or pediatric settings is highly preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group counseling to students on an itinerant basis across district sites.
- Assess student needs and develop comprehensive mental health treatment plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary school teams.
- Maintain thorough documentation and compliance with district and state standards.
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents to support student success.
- Facilitate crisis intervention and provide timely, evidence-based support.
- Participate in professional development opportunities and district trainings.
