Job Description

Make a lasting impact supporting student mental health in a dynamic, multicultural educational setting. This contract opportunity focuses on providing vital Educationally Related Mental Health Services (ERMHS) across several schools, working directly with K-Transition age students in a districtwide, itinerant capacity. Candidates will join a collaborative team dedicated to student wellbeing while utilizing their bilingual Spanish skills in a rewarding, school-based environment.

Key Qualifications:

  • Fluency in both English and Spanish (bilingual Spanish speakers only, non-negotiable)
  • Masters or Doctoral degree in a relevant counseling or social work field
  • Active California BBS registration numbercandidates must be fully licensed (LPCC, LMFT, LCSW) or hold Associate status (AMFT, APCC, ASW) working under supervision toward licensure
  • At least 3,000 hours of supervised experience (or currently accruing)
  • Successful completion of the California Law and Ethics Exam and appropriate clinical licensing exams
  • Ability to pass background check and Live Scan fingerprinting per California requirements
  • Knowledge of ERMHS services, IEP processes, and school-based mental health practices

Responsibilities Include:

  • Conduct mental health assessments and create individualized intervention plans
  • Deliver culturally responsive counseling services to students (EC-Transition), families, and school teams at multiple sites
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other specialists to support holistic student development
  • Maintain accurate records, contribute to IEP meetings, and document client progress
  • Uphold confidentiality and comply with all district and legal guidelines

This is a full-time, on-site contract from August 11, 2026, to June 2, 2027, spanning several school locations. Two positions are available.
