Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Masters degree in School Counseling or related field required
• Valid state certification or eligibility as a school counselor
• Experience working with K-12 students in counseling or educational settings
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and mediation skills
• Ability to develop and implement individual and group guidance programs
• Proficiency in identifying and addressing student needs, including crisis intervention and referral

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct counseling support to students, individually and in groups, addressing personal, social, and academic challenges
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to evaluate student needs and establish intervention strategies
• Conduct assessments to identify students requiring additional assistance or specialized services
• Lead classroom guidance sessions focused on essential skills such as decision making, conflict resolution, and career exploration
• Maintain confidential and accurate records in compliance with school and regulatory guidelines
• Support school-wide initiatives to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
