Job Description

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Hold a valid state certification or licensure as a school counselor
  • Experience working with students in an educational setting preferred

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for building rapport with students, teachers, and parents

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement intervention strategies to support student achievement and well-being
  • Collaborate with educators and families to develop effective plans for student support
  • Facilitate crisis response protocols and preventive mental health initiatives as needed
  • Conduct classroom or school-wide presentations on relevant topics such as conflict resolution, peer relationships, or career readiness
  • Maintain accurate documentation and confidential student records in compliance with school policies
