Youll play an important role in supporting students educational journeys by delivering essential occupational therapy services and collaborating closely with teachers, staff, and families.
Desired Qualifications:
- Active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant license in Oklahoma
- Previous experience supporting school-aged children (K-12) strongly preferred
- Solid understanding of school-based occupational therapy best practices
- Exceptional communication, organization, and teamwork abilities
- Adaptable, positive attitude, and comfortable working in dynamic educational environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and indirect occupational therapy services to students as outlined in IEPs
- Collaborate with a supervising Occupational Therapist and participate in student support teams
- Maintain accurate student records, documentation, and progress reports
- Support teachers and families with practical strategies to help students thrive
- Adapt interventions to meet diverse needs within both one-on-one and group settings
