Job Description

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid certification/licensure as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
  • Experience serving children or adolescents, especially in school or pediatric settings
  • Comfortable following treatment plans designed by OTs, monitoring progress, and documenting student achievements
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with teachers, staff, families, and therapists
  • Organizational skills to manage schedules, caseloads, and paperwork efficiently
  • Compassion, creativity, and adaptability when supporting diverse student needs

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Provide therapeutic interventions and activities as outlined in student Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Support and adapt learning environments to promote student independence and participation
  • Collect data, maintain accurate records, and contribute to progress reports
  • Offer assistance in classroom environments as needed for students with physical, sensory, or behavioral needs
  • Communicate regularly with occupational therapists regarding student growth and program adjustments
  • Participate in staff meetings and professional development

Compensation for this position ranges from $18.00 to $65.00. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals. Full details of our healthcare benefits plan can be found here. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
