A full-time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) position is available in a school setting located in Wilmington, MA. This role primarily involves managing a PreK caseload, providing essential occupational therapy services to young students to support their developmental and educational needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy interventions tailored to PreK students
- Collaborate with educators and school staff to integrate therapy goals within the classroom environment
- Assess student progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with school and professional standards
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to individualized education program (IEP) planning
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid COTA certification
- Experience working with pediatric populations, preferably in schools
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to manage a full caseload independently
- Commitment to supporting the developmental needs of PreK children
