Job Description

A part-time opportunity is available for a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) with school-based experience to support an elementary caseload. This contract position requires 20-25 hours per week, starting as soon as possible, and continuing through June 12, 2026. The role is onsite at an elementary school located in Whittier, CA, with one opening available.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide occupational therapy services to elementary students
  • Collaborate with school staff to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Monitor and document student progress
  • Participate in meetings as needed with educators and parents
  • Maintain compliance with school-based therapy protocols and guidelines

Qualifications:

  • Current, active COTA license in California
  • Previous experience working in a school setting
  • Ability to manage an elementary caseload effectively
  • Strong communication skills and ability to interact with students, parents, and staff
