Key skills and experience:
- Active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license in Pennsylvania
- Experience in schools preferred; healthcare or pediatric backgrounds also valued
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
- Passion for encouraging student development and participation
- Commitment to upholding compliance standards and documenting progress
Role responsibilities:
- Provide direct occupational therapy interventions under the guidance of a supervising OT
- Adapt and deliver individualized therapy for a diverse K-12 caseload
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other specialists to support IEP goals
- Maintain accurate records and participate in team meetings
