An opportunity is available for a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to provide essential support within a school setting located in Wayne, MI. This contract position involves working closely with students to enhance their physical and cognitive abilities, thus fostering an inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to students under the supervision of a licensed occupational therapist.
- Implement individualized treatment plans designed to improve students functional abilities in academic and daily activities.
- Collaborate with educators, therapists, and families to promote effective intervention and support strategies.
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school and regulatory standards.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to student evaluations and program development.
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) credential.
