Job Description

A rewarding contract opportunity is available for a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) eager to make an impact across a K-12 school district. Support a dedicated onsite Occupational Therapist in providing essential services to students across four school buildingstwo elementary, one middle, and one high school. This full-time role offers valuable experience working with diverse student populations and the chance to contribute meaningfully within a supportive educational environment.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active Pennsylvania COTA license (required)
  • Previous experience in school-based or pediatric occupational therapy preferred
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills
  • Ability to adapt to varying caseloads and ages (K-12)
  • Demonstrated commitment to student-centered care

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver occupational therapy interventions as directed by the supervising OT
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support students educational goals
  • Provide direct support in classroom and therapy settings within the districts four buildings
  • Maintain thorough documentation of sessions and student progress
  • Assist with scheduling, equipment preparation, and adapting materials to enhance student participation
  • Participate in team meetings and provide input on students occupational therapy needs
