Step into a rewarding contract opportunity for the upcoming 2026-27 school year as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) supporting students from PreK through 8th grade. This full-time position offers up to 38 hours per week and is conveniently located near Tempe, AZ. The role involves working closely with a diverse caseload of around 60-70 students, including some who only require consultative services. What You Bring:
- Active Arizona COTA license
- IVP fingerprint clearance card
- Previous experience in pediatric settings strongly preferred
- Ability to work effectively with both individual students and small groups
- Commitment to supporting educational teams, students, and families
What Youll Do:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to PreK-8th grade students as outlined in their IEPs or 504 plans
- Participate in assessments, documentation, and progress reporting for your caseload
- Provide consultative and direct therapy services, adapting activities to meet diverse needs
- Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and related service providers to maximize student outcomes
- Support students in developing skills for increased participation and independence in the classroom setting
