Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) in Washington State
• Previous experience in school or pediatric settings is highly preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities for collaboration and documentation
• Comfortable working with students across diverse backgrounds and ability levels
• Adaptable, organized, and proactive in addressing students needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in implementing individualized education program (IEP) goals under supervision of an Occupational Therapist
• Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students, adapting strategies as needed for optimal participation in school activities
• Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and data to ensure effective care and compliance
• Collaborate with educational team members and parents for comprehensive student support
