Primary responsibilities:

  • Carry out customized occupational therapy interventions as directed by the supervising Occupational Therapist
  • Assist students in developing fine motor, sensory, and daily living skills within classroom settings
  • Monitor student progress, maintain accurate documentation, and provide updates to the therapy team
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of students Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Support inclusion for students with diverse needs and adapt activities for maximum engagement and participation
  • Collaborate with faculty and staff to foster a supportive school climate
