This contract opportunity, located in the South Holland, IL area, calls for a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) who is passionate about supporting young students developmental milestones. Position Highlights:
- Full-time role with 32.5 hours per week
- Immediate start available for onsite work with early childhood students
- Integrated service delivery model promoting cross-disciplinary teamwork
Key Qualifications:
- Active Illinois COTA license required
- Previous experience or strong interest in working with early childhood students
- Understanding of collaborative, play-based instruction and therapy
- Willingness to participate in an integrated teaching model that emphasizes interweaving disciplines
- Must meet any district or state-specific requirements for COTAs
Responsibilities:
- Provide occupational therapy services tailored to the unique needs of early learners
- Collaborate with teachers, speech-language pathologists, physical therapists, and technology specialists to maximize student outcomes
