What Were Looking For:
- Active COTA certification, with valid credentials for school-based practice
- Experience providing occupational therapy in school or pediatric environments
- Strong communication, teamwork, and documentation skills
- Adaptable to a variety of caseloads and age groups within a school setting
- Understanding of best practices in service delivery for students with physical, developmental, or learning disabilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement occupational therapy interventions, as outlined in individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Assist with screenings, assessments, and progress monitoring for students
- Collaborate with OTs, educators, support staff, and families to maximize student access to the curriculum
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to IEP meetings
- Provide direct and consultative support to students across assigned schools
