Qualifications:

• Valid certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
• Current state licensure (or eligibility to obtain)

• Compassion and patience working with children of varying abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Occupational Therapist in planning and delivering therapy interventions to students
• Implement activities to support fine and gross motor skills development
• Document and report on student progress according to school and regulatory guidelines
• Support classroom modifications and adaptive strategies to increase student engagement
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to promote student success
• Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings as needed
