Job Description
Step into an engaging contract opportunity supporting students from PreK through 8th grade as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant. This school-based position offers the chance to make a real difference while collaborating within an educational environment near Scottsdale, AZ. Youll provide therapeutic support across a diverse caseload (approximately 60-70 students, with a portion consult-only), ensuring each childs needs are met with creativity and care. Anticipate full-time hours (Monday to Friday, 38 hours weekly) during the upcoming 202627 school year.
Qualifications:
Current Arizona Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license
IVP fingerprint clearance card
Pediatric experience is highly preferred, particularly in educational settings
Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
Adaptability and a positive, team-focused attitude
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver occupational therapy interventions and support as directed by an Occupational Therapist
Contribute to assessments and assist in developing individualized education plans (IEPs)
Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and services
Collaborate with educators, families, and other school professionals to promote student success
Support students functional independence within the school environment
Provide consultative services as needed to both staff and families
