Bring your expertise as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to support students growth in a dynamic school setting! Were seeking dedicated professionals for a full-time, on-site contract assignment serving multiple school sites within a busy and supportive district. This role offers the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of students, from Pre-K through young adults transitioning out of school, across elementary, middle, and high school environments.

Key Qualifications:

• Current Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license through the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR)
• Active Educator License through the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE)
• School-based experience highly preferred
• Ability to adapt to working at various school sites
• Fingerprinting and other time-sensitive credentialing steps required

Core Responsibilities:

• Provide occupational therapy services to a diverse caseload of students, ranging in age from early childhood to age 22
• Collaborate closely with supervising Occupational Therapists, teachers, and multidisciplinary teams to help students achieve IEP goals
• Travel between multiple school sites within the district as an itinerant COTA
• Implement individualized treatment plans, document progress, and participate in team meetings as needed
• Support students academic participation, social-emotional skills, and functional independence in the educational setting
