Job Description

Step into a rewarding full-time opportunity supporting elementary students as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for the 2026-2027 academic year in a vibrant school setting. This contract position begins August 13, 2026, and runs through June 9, 2027, with a consistent Monday through Friday schedule (8:00 AM 3:30 PM). Youll be an essential part of the onsite team, fostering student growth and independence each day.

Key Qualifications:

  • Current, active COTA license in California.
  • Demonstrated experience working in school-based environments.
  • Comfortable supporting elementary-aged caseloads.
  • Excellent collaborative and communication skills.
  • Ability to conduct therapy sessions, track progress, and collaborate with educators and families.
  • Flexibility for a Zoom interview as part of the hiring process.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the implementation of therapeutic activities according to student IEPs.
  • Work closely with licensed occupational therapists and classroom teachers.
  • Provide direct therapy services to elementary students at the school site.
  • Document student progress, maintain accurate records, and contribute to IEP meetings as needed.
  • Support students engagement, independence, and participation within academic routines.
  • Contribute to a welcoming, positive environment for all learners.
