Job Description

This opportunity is ideal for a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) experienced in school-based settings, eager to support elementary students in a dynamic educational environment. Working onsite at an elementary school in Santa Monica, CA, this part-time contract position offers 20-25 hours per week, with a start date as soon as possible through June 12, 2026.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing occupational therapy services tailored to the needs of elementary students.
  • Collaborating with school staff to develop and implement individualized intervention plans.
  • Maintaining accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school policies.
  • Participating in team meetings and communicating effectively with educators and families.

Qualifications:

  • Current, active COTA license in California.
  • Proven experience working in school-based settings, preferably with elementary-aged children.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, particularly in a collaborative school environment.
  • Availability to work onsite as required by the school setting.
