Qualifications & Experience:
- Active COTA licensure in California (or eligibility to obtain)
- Prior experience working with school-aged children or within school environments preferred
- Strong collaboration skills with teachers, therapists, and families
- Excellent communication and organization abilities
- Sensitivity to students individual needs and diverse backgrounds
- Knowledge of relevant documentation and data collection practices
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Implement established occupational therapy plans under the supervision of a licensed occupational therapist
- Provide direct support to students to increase participation in classroom routines and activities
- Assist with assessments, data collection, and progress documentation
- Adapt materials and modify activities to meet individual student goals
- Support inclusive practices and accommodations within the classroom
- Engage in collaborative team meetings to tailor intervention strategies
- Contribute to a nurturing, positive school environment
