This full-time, onsite contract position begins in August 2026 and runs through November 2026, covering a maternity leavewith the potential for extension. Key Qualifications:
- Valid state licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
- Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting is highly valued
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with students, staff, and families
- Flexibility to adapt to diverse caseloads and age groups (K-12)
- Ability to manage time efficiently in a dynamic educational environment
What Youll Be Doing:
- Collaborate with the lead Occupational Therapist to provide direct therapy to students with a variety of needs
- Implement individualized treatment plans according to IEP goals and teacher recommendations
- Monitor, document, and report student progress toward occupational therapy objectives
- Adjust support strategies to best serve each student across multiple schools
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and communicate effectively with staff and families
